Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj has won an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to supply gas pump techniques for 15 new build dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

This is certainly one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders so far. It can additionally be the second LNG gas pump systems order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj within the last 12 months. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to supply deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled pressure gauge 10 bar of its patented deepwell gas pumps in 2021, and says there are many indications that sales could enhance even additional in 2022.
“Until a couple of years ago, the usage of LNG as a marine fuel was restricted to LNG carriers and smaller ships.
